There are NO whisky distilleries in Aberdeen. The nearest distilleries to Aberdeen are between 35 and 50 miles away. There is a newly built GIN DISTILLERY (The City of Aberdeen Distillery) was set up a few years ago. It is possible it might be possible for it to produce whisky at some time in the future, but probably not with the current stills. Currently I don't believe they have the necessary space to brew the wash required for malt distillation.
Who writes this crap? Obviously someone who knows damn all about either whisky or Aberdeen!
