The world’s oldest Scotch whisky?
Approximately 40 bottles of Scotland's renowned libation were unearthed within Blair Castle in Perthshire towards the end of the previous year.Â
Comprehensive investigations conducted within the castle's historical records and employing state-of-the-art carbon dating technology propose that the liquid treasure harks back to the early 1800s.Â
Astonishingly there's even a possibility that this whisky is the very same elixir savored by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert during their visit to the castle back in 1844.
