A favourite of Romantic poets and 18th-century aristocrats, The Hermitage is a magical forest walk near Dunkeld. It features towering Douglas firs, Ossian’s Hall, and dramatic Black Linn Falls on the River Braan. Managed by the National Trust for Scotland, it’s open year-round and perfect for nature lovers and photographers.
