Moo-ving Moments

Every June, the Royal Highland Show bursts into life at the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston, just outside Edinburgh. Running from 19–22 June 2025, it’s Scotland’s biggest celebration of farming, food, and rural fun. Expect to see over 6,500 animals – from handsome Highland "coos" to fluffy sheep and powerful horses. It’s a grand gathering of all things agricultural, complete with live competitions, show jumping, and even sheep shearing that’ll have you cheering.

But it’s not all muck and muscle – there’s loads for foodies and shoppers too. Tuck into samples in the Food & Drink Hall, stroll through stalls from over 800 exhibitors, and discover local crafts and high-tech farm gear. Whether you're there for the animals, the atmosphere, or a taste of Scotland's rural roots, the Royal Highland Show is totally unmissable!
