The iconic singer delighted his 1.4 million followers with a holiday snapshot featuring him standing proudly in front of a lavishly adorned Christmas tree adorned with red and gold baubles.

True to his signature style, Sir Rod sported a tartan waistcoat, red trousers, a traditional Scottish sporran and stylish Gucci rubber boots, effortlessly outshining even Santa Claus in the fashion department.

In the accompanying caption, he humorously declared, "No Scotland, no party #sporran #scotland #christmas #hogmanay."
