The highest mountain in Scotland is Ben Nevis which is also the largest mountain in the British Isles. Every year, over 150,000 people from all over the world make the trip and then attempt to climb to the top and summit this majestic mountain.

This is not an easy climb and will test your abilities, strength and endurance. 

Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland, the United Kingdom and the British Isles.  With a summit  of 4,411 feet (1,345 m) above sea level it is the highest land in any direction for 459 miles (739 kilometres). Ben Nevis is close to the town of Fort William which is the perfect spot from which to explore the mountain.
